We’re on the hunt for Honda Heroes nationwide who are performing selfless acts of kindness to make their community a better place. From volunteers who power mobile showers with generators for the homeless, to those who clean and mow abandoned playgrounds for the love of the children who need a safe space to play. Honda Heroes are everyday people doing extraordinary things with power equipment, seeking nothing more than to make the world a better place, one tool at a time.

This year, Honda encourages you to tell us about these people by nominating them to be a Honda Hero. By taking the time to share their story with us, you could help them be even more helpful. Nominate your hero now for the shot at gifted Honda Power Equipment, plus $1,000 to help further their efforts in the community. And who wouldn’t like one of those huge checks to remember their recognition of service!?

Nominating a Honda Hero

To nominate a Honda Hero, please write a 1,000-word essay, or submit a three-minute video essay, detailing why your nominee is deserving of the title of a Honda Hero. Please note, Honda Heroes must use power equipment during their noted service. Be sure to include the type of power equipment used and how in your nomination submission.

Please include:

• What makes your hero special? Ask yourself: What makes my nominee unique?
• What specific accomplishment has he or she achieved using power equipment that is remarkable?
• What impact has his or her work had on others?

Once your nomination has been successfully submitted, you will see a "thank you" message on your screen. This is the only confirmation you will receive. And yes, we read each and every one. That's it! Nominations for 2020-2021 Honda Heroes remain open through March 31, 2021.

Honda will choose up to six Honda Heroes per year. Each Honda Hero will be spotlighted on our website and social media. We are looking forward to seeing your nominations!
